Color additives are everywhere around us. Yet, most of them are toxic or possible carcinogens, and derived from unsustainable sources such as petroleum or coal.
Algal Blooms.
More frequent & severe algal bloom due to human activities, such as farming & urban pollution. There is no direct measure to clean up algal blooms when they happen, resulting in deoxygenation which suffocates fishes and other marine organisms.
